The Australian Lobby Group lodged a formal submission to Federal Parliament opposing the Combating Antisemitism, Hate and Extremism Bill 2026. Not because we support hate. Because we oppose state-controlled speech.

• protects extremist religious texts while punishing critics

• gives ministers power to ban organizations by decree
