Its not about racism its about the system becoming overloaded. Not enough housing, the medical system becoming overloaded. Yet the politicians spin it. SICKENING ! How well the government works. Six years of applications to the NDIS and I find out this week that Ive been eligible for the exceptional needs unit and have to wait another month for referrals and no one in any hospital mentioned this to me in the past two years. I only found this out after spending 5 hours on the phone after a week in hospital with nothing else to do other than annoy useless government departments. starting with the disability minister,then the NDIS minister,before getting the run around back to the NDIS, then to the hospital social worker, then to the local area coordinator. Before being told there was a hospital liaison for the NDIS.not a mention of this in two years.
