Its taken a month of bike work at the gym to build my lung capacity back up to 60%. Still a long way to go. Four months ago I was outlasting 25 year olds at the gym. Now I can barely walk out of there and am sleeping part way through the day. In the last week Ive started back doing weights. Ive lost so much conditioning that I’m only doing one set at minimal weight. For example 1 kilo shoulder press. The torn tendon in the right bicep aches, the left shoulder aches and the left knee aches. I knew the knee would play up without doing leg press and extensions for two months but I’m right back to starting again with the rehab to get the knee to work at a reasonable level. Not the first time Ive had to start from scratch, but I don’t like being back on the heavy pain killers.
