This is a great experiment in eating a months worth of dehydrated and freeze dried meals.
Ive gone with 20 kilo buckets of the following sealed in mylar bags.
oats
honey
yellow split peas
red lentils
haricot navy beans
chick peas
basmati rice
polenta
potato flakes
salt
pinto beans
borlotti beans
cannalini beans
flour
sugar brown
powdered milk
Id supplement the above list with ready wise dried vegetables and fruit and a tub of mains and breakfasts. which are mainly pasta dishes and granola. I like the on track meals along with the outdoor gourmet meals. One day Id cook rice and beans and mix vegetables in with it for example, then next have a pasta meal. Mix it up as much as possible.I like the ready wise grab bags for in vehicles.
